All adjectives reveal scales?

Thanks Paolo. Not a Wittgenstein fan as such, maybe I should catch up with his writings though (although the shelves 'to read' are already poking my eyes out :)). What's the deal with NLPers and bi…

All adjectives reveal scales?

Hi Hannes! hey, you do not just "read" Wittgenstein - you savor it! :) But you can appreciate him the most if you got trapped in language, like I was as a student of philosophy. Let's put it this way: you are healthy, you take an aspirin... can you…

Hi Hannes Not a Wittgenstein fan as such, you can catch up with his ideas probably in Bucharest at the SOL conference - not he himself but from those who still alive VERY GOOD ONES will discusse his ideas from an SF angle. And: it happens to me some…

Hey Phillip, Thanks for sharing your story. "I do what I do and they do the changing or they don't" is definitely something which I will ponder upon for the next couple of days ... The insight that you don't have to change these folks also strikes…

Thanks Paolo. Not a Wittgenstein fan as such, maybe I should catch up with his writings though (although the shelves 'to read' are already poking my eyes out :)). What's the deal with NLPers and big words? Fill me in. :)

Hi Hannes, I believe the "in comparison to what?" is a classic NLP question that is part of the "meta-model" structure. The meta-model addresses ways in which language can be confusing, in this case because a referential index has been unspecified o…

Hi Philip, just joining in on the discussion. One question: have you ever voiced your worries towards the pro's? Maybe you can do a short SF-track on this particular challenge (How they've dealt with old habits dieing hard (I believe they never die)…

About your connection to Solution Focused Work (based on Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazer at BFTC Milwaukee and others):
I'm fond of how powerful communication and especially powerful listening can enable people to change.

That's why I want to coach / advise / train people in mastering a more solution focused approach to their lives and their challenges.

I used to work as a journalist and a copywriter (mainly in advertising and social marketing) before I discovered solution focused work.

I have a profound interest in how behavioural economics/sciences, non-violent communication, buddhism and mindfulness are related to solution focused work.

At the moment I'm following a 4-year training in solution focused therapy at the Korzybski-institute (Bruges, Belgium).
