Call for contributions to a new mailadress Dear Solutions Focused Friend Suppose you leave Balatonfüred on the 21st May 2011 with that satisfying feeling of being nourished, of having shared TREAUSRES and participated in something unique and cutting edge. What was your contribution to this wonderful feeling? Was it just your presence? Was it your participation in discussions and conversations? Your song in the cabaret, a workshop you delivered, an experience you shared, a question you asked? .... please continue reading in the pdf file
Call-for-Contributions.pdf we're looking forward to receiving your contribution at learning@solworld2011.org with this document:

Dear Yvonne,
the first swallows - as the Hungarians would say... I am so glad, we are so glad,
and becoming more and more excited. As Kati said: please check out when the full registration opens, soon, and if you have some ideas about the learning field, feel most welcome, too, to share it with us!
All the best and looking forward to seeing you, well, soon: Enikő

Dear Yvonne
now I'm soooo impressed someone booked the flight already!! Thank you for your coming! :)
The venue of the conference is http://www.annagrandhotel.hu/ , this is at lake Balaton, 166km from the airport. There will be around 3 bus-connections arranged during 18th of may you can use to get there the most easy way. The hotel booking you'll do in the same step as registering at the conference, so not directly at the hotel! The registration will be opened ca. by the end of October. if you booked your flight in a way that you kept some time afterwards, we offer for the weekend a special rate at a Budapest hotel http://www.hotelpresident.hu/ which you also can book from the end of October.
I hope this helps?
looking very much forward to meeting you in Hungary, greetings from Kati

Dear Hunteam, we are looking forward to attend the Sol world conference in Budapest. We just booked our flight to Budapest, and we would like to book the hotel. Could you give some info about the hotel, emailadress for instance?
We are sure we want to come, but still pondering what we would like to learn :-)

kind regards!

Dear Hun-orga-team,

Thank you for preparing the space of the SOLconference in such a dedicated way already...

_what would you like to see happen again?

I would like to see the very special and unique co-creation 'there and then' that finds place when SF people gather and exchange, the trust of the organizers that it will be a great conference anyway and that each participant knows perfectly well how to create his/her own best conference, I'd like to see the organizers enjoy the conference as much as the participants do and how everyone is invited and feeling welcome to join and share as much as possible.

_what would you like to learn even more about or try out for the first time?

I am very interested to learn more about SF beyond the pure conversation techniques, to learn about how SF practitioners use both mind and body to work on progress, better cooperation, growth,... I'd like to be surprised more by experiences than by knowledge, by new formats where coaches and trainers make use of body knowledge, space, music, art, props, nature perhaps- workshops including physical activities, awareness exercises,...

I have noticed that these experiences can leave people behind 'changed' or 'touched' in a very profound way. That would really make my perfect conference!

I wish you all fun and inspiration with the further preparations!
Liselotte

Dear All
Preparations for the 10th annual SOLWorld conference are under way and we are happy to announce the next step: please join in and help us by co-creating the conference learning field.

The location is Hungary, a country that still interprets its history as centuries of crisis, foreign rule, war and struggle, still struggling to find its economic and political balance, yet a country traditionally recognized for its creative potential in art and science, a country that has given great musicians, scientists, writers and thinkers to the world. A country with lots of treasures to discover.

Having chosen the motto

‘Discovering treasures in organisations’

we are emphasizing the great strategy of SF work: building solutions out of existing resources; reaching a goal or a next step by appreciating what’s already been done. This takes us back to the very roots and origins of solution focused work.

Now we would like to know: what are your learning wishes Before we continue developing the conference, and call for workshops and interactive learning opportunities around the topic ‘Discovering Treasures’, we would like to take a step in-between. If you want to be fast, go slow, so we take time and ask you, future participants, community members, SF practitioners in organizational contexts:
_what would you like to see happen again?
_what would you like to learn even more about or try out for the first time?
_what treasures would you like to discover in a new way?

We invite you to send us emails, audio or video messages to the following email address learning@solworld2011.com or to make comments here.

Please forward us your ideas during the next 2 weeks up to the end of September. Thank you very much for your contribution.

Excited and curious about your co-creation

The HUN orga team: Enikö, Monika, Kati and Peter

Great news! we're just contracting an excellent hotel, in the very middle of Budapest for you all, who want to prolong the stay in Hungary after the conference for the weekend - and maybe attend one of the post-conference workshops, too (on Monday, 23rd of May 2011). here you go to Hotel President
