Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
Hi, I'm finishing my Master-degree in Psychology at the University in Copenhagen and in that connection I'm writing a paper on conflict resolution/management/mediation seen from a solution-focused and a problem-focused perspective. Therefore, I was wondering whether you might have any knowledge about the possible existence of the effectiveness of the solution focused and/or of the problem focused approach in that connection? And where I might find such research results?
Thanks a lot in advance:-)
Kind regards Gitte Odgaard
Re problem-focused vs. solution-focused questions, I think Grant and O'Connors' paper is the most relevant, here is what I wrote about it on my blog with a link to the original paper: http://www.briefcoachingsolutions.com/solution-focused-vs-problem-f...
For a complete list of SF evaluation, nothing beats Alasdair Macdonald's http://www.solutionsdoc.co.uk/sft.html
Best of luck with your paper,
