Gilbert Brenson-Lazan is a social psychologist, psychotherapist, facilitator and educator. He has been a pioneer in Latin America in transactional analysis, brief systemic therapy, organizational facilitation, transcultural communications, stress management and disaster and crisis intervention. He is the author of twenty-nine books and is Founder and Managing Partner of Amauta Internacional, LLC, organization dedicated to the training and mentoring of facilitators of social and organizational transformation.
He is a member of the governing board of the Change Facilitation Associates Network and Associate Director for Latin America and the Caribbean for the Global Leadership Alliance. Additionally, he is Co-Founder and Past President of the Global Facilitator Service Corps.

Education 1959 – 1969: Carleton College and University of Minnesota, BA and MA in Psychology and Doctoral work in Social Psychology.

1978: Lankton Institute, Pensacola FL, 80 hours clinical training NLP
1984: Berkshire Medical Center, MA - 80 hours clinical training in systemic family therapy.
1995: Southern Cross University, Australia – Action Learning and Research (virtual program).

Publications Twenty-nine books and training manuals.
