Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations

Just now I received an offer from Hotel Greenside which is one of the hotels offering a reduced fee for SOL-participants. The offered price per room is € 155.00 per night including breakfast.
This (for me) is a lot of money I have to spend for three nights....

So, I looked into the web for other opportunities and found this:

What of those cheaper accommodations do you know as "acceptable"?

What other tips do you have? Maybe in combination with a stay for some more days?

Thank you in advance!

Now I received the offer from SANDTON HOTEL DE COOGHEN also:
"Our special price for the SOL-conference is € 145,00 for one room for two persons. It is included breakfest."
This is about the same as Hotel Greenside.

Cheers, Hans-Peter
Hi Hans-Peter,

ooops this is rather expensive. How will the weather be in May ... there must be campsites ...

Yes, I also thought about camp-sites.... maybe there are some with fix stationed mobile homes to rent... I used that sometimes at lake Como ... pretty nice....
Or a youth hostel (I still am a member) also will be fine....
But: looking in the night from May 14 to 15 is booked out....

===>>> QUESTION TO THE SOL - TEXEL TEAM: What cheaper hotels / B&B / camp-sites can you recommend?

Has anyone explored the camping/mobile homes option?
I am up for it, hostels also OK but looks like the Texel one is full unless the organising team booked it for us???

I just booked a quite cheap & nice hotel in De Koog (the small village where the two "official recommended" hotels are) for € 50 for a room with two beds (so I have the option that my wife can come with me).

Here it is:
Hotel Ouwe Dijkstra
Nikadel 5
De Koog

ATTENTION: If you book it via you will have a cheaper rate!

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
voluminous books?

You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
