Dear all,

I am very glad that I've found this group since I am looking for expert training SF for teachers, mentors / using SF in education / schools using SF.

I am a trainer / outdoor intstructor / teamcoach writing an application for a Grundtvig assistantship. This way we could find ways of fruitful cooperation and hopefuly support SF in Hungarian education.

If you have any hints, suggestions, please write me.

Looking forward the forerunners of a mutually useful encounter :)

Árpi

Dear all,

Catalysed by Katalin's contribution I'd like to share the link to Alfie Kohn's keynote address «The schools our kids deserve».

Radical questions and powerful thoughts to support each and everyone on his or her way to new approaches in learning and teaching. I'm very curious to learn about how this 'positive radicalism' may or may not contribute to your work.

Dalai Lama Whatever the intellectual quality of the education given our children, it is vital that it include elements of love and compassion, for nothing guarantees that knowledge alone will be truly useful to human beings. Among the major troublemakers society has known, many were well-educated and had great knowledge, but they lacked a moral education in qualities such as compassion, wisdom and clarity of vision.

Hi everybody.
Some Years ago I was in Interlaken on Sol-Meeting. I get a lot of good ideas and I bought the book 'solution focused education' (Kerstin Mahlberg, Maud Sjöblom). Since this time a work often with solution focused education-ideas.
Some month ago I was on a meeting about 'kids'Skills' (Ben Furmann). Now I work with 'kids'Skills' with a group of children. It's simple but not easy.

Hi everybody, thanks for inviting me and making me aware of this group. I've done quite some work for and with schools during the last years. Right now I'm getting ready for my world-trip, so my professional activities are about to come to an end (for the time being). But I really enjoy to keep in touch with these topics! All the best and "see" you there, Sabine

Hi there, it´s really nice that this group is growing. I have now sent invitations to those who added their e-mail address when we met in the School group. I request you all to invite friends you know are interested to share thoughts about the SF in Schools. Maud and me were just home repacking for a trip to the north of Sweden, having two days Kick-off for a new Swedish authority named: SPSM, Special Pedagogical School Authority, with about 130 persons. With a very big interest for the SFE approach. So, comeone everybody help spreading the word. Kerstin

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
