Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations

The SolutionStage® is a "staging room" to install and try out different versions of "realistic models" for working environments in organisations in a Solution Focused way. Such "productions on stage" could be test-environments how different versions of strategic products or services will be seen and accepted in future by clients. Such "productions on stage" also could serve to create and test different typical settings of communications (with customers, managers with subordinates, within project teams) or different versions for work processes.

The core entities of these productions are the persons working in the company (not professional actors) acting as different "figures" (i.e. as clients). The figures and stories are not predefined (as it is done in most of the "role trainings") but are created by the acting persons. During the improvised performance they are supported by a coach as a "stage director". This coaching director is not the "author". He is only responsible, that the "performance is going on". The acting persons are in a Solution Focused sense the experts, owners and inventors of the performance and the "libretto".

Here you find one application of it, recently done by Luigi Gerardi (Rome):

And ==> HERE you find this documents about it in English:

hi hans peter
very interesting, not so "ludens" probably, but it likes very effective.
I aslo use a similar approach, instead of psicodrama I use constellation integrated with the SF approach; some time I start with a normal role play and I let evolve it in a constellation only if I feel it ready to do.
I am change manager, my project are usually very long and I work with my clients "assiduously" in order to support him/her in enetring stongly in his/her new function/role.
I use shakespeare characters in order to outline the specific decision style of each individual manager, not only during the role play, but also later during our change management coaching sessions.

Interesting to read:
> instead of psicodrama I use constellation integrated with the SF approach; some time I start with a normal role play and I let evolve it in a constellation

I do it "inverse" sometimes: I start with a constellation - and let it become more and more "moving" allowing the spontaneous impulses of the participants in the way of "Script Constellations", see also in: Miracle, Solution and System by Insa Sparrer giving the participants more an more "freedom of movement" and "freedom to talk".

To this:
> I use shakespeare characters in order to outline the specific decision style of each individual manager

I did this in a training based on the figures of "Commedia dell' Arte" - it was an interesting experience, but it leads for me too much to act out "stereotypes". So, I prefer to let the participants create their own figures using the framework of "sociodrama".

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?

You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some
voluminous books?

You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
