My dear SOL-friends

It's been a great pleasure to share and learn together at this year's superb SOLconference. I feel very grateful and thank you for everything!

I am still overwhelmed by the warm welcome and great support of my SF Leadership SOL talk research results and ideas. SF Leadership (SFL) is not only happening in the 57 organisations that participated in my survey, but also through our sharing.

What struck me the most, is that the description of "SF Leadership practice as an ongoing SF interactional behaviour in between Leaders, employees and stakeholders" offers us a widely shared common base to continue the dialogue about SFL. 

The successs stories in the Solution Focused Leadership Survey show that these SF interactions focus on „Platform Building“, „Future Perfect“, „Discovering What Works“, „Affirming“, „Small Steps (Signs)“, and „Experiments“ with the aim to achieve better results, influence behaviour of others, and/or feel better. Since SFL interactions are often short interactions that take place on an everyday base, they usually don't follow an SF process (commonly used in SF coaching), but focus on one or two elements. SF Leadership behaviour is mutually amplified by supportive behaviour of superiors, employees and stakeholders as well as the desired outcomes. As the participants show SF Leadership does not only work very well in various situations and can be applied in almost any setting, but also fits a dynamic and challenging environment.

For me it became really clear that SF Leadership is much more than coaching and should therefore be seen as a style of Leadership and a promise for the future.

I am very happy to share all the results with everyone, this will take some time though and I thank you for your patience.
