A good friend, fellow Buddhist and fellow coach, by the name of Jñānagarbha, came on an SF-Coaching Course I was running. When asked to summarise the Future Perfect, he made a very interesting point, even drawing on the film "Wayne's World"!<br />

Apparently in the film, Wayne's friend Garth says "We Fear Change" - and anyone who's ever been involved in a change management programme can testify to that! But.... when we imagine the future perfect in vivid detail, we make our desired change more…

But.... when we imagine the future perfect in vivid detail, we make our desired change more familiar to ourselves. Perhaps we then feel safer in that future? Perhaps this helps overcome fear of making that change? Could that be part of how solutions focus achives its remarkable effectiveness?<br />
