Sharing and building Solution Focused practice in organisations
Time: August 8, 2022 at 7pm to August 12, 2022 at 6pm
Location: Physical hub in Balen (north of Belgium) + any location of your choice :)
Event Type: sol, summer, retreat
Organized By: Wendy Van den Bulck, Sarah Cudmore and Klaus Schenck
Latest Activity: Aug 8, 2022
Dear SOL World friends,
Sarah Cudmore, Klaus Schenck and Wendy Van den Bulck have recently had a first dream session together about arrangements for the SOL Retreat this coming year. A lot still has to figured out and co-created, as a first step, this mail is a ‘save-the-date’.
The basic concept stays untouched: the Retreat is an opportunity to meet other SF practitioners in an informal environment so that we learn more about how we each think and apply SF in our work and lives. And to co-create a joyful, easeful environment for all to think, learn, share, play, take care of self and others.
Regarding the format, we have had to be flexible in the last two years, and this year that won’t be otherwise... The framework we have so far: Our intention is to have the Retreat from Monday 8th (evening) - Friday 12th August - after the SF24 event if it runs again.
Wendy can offer to host retreaters on and around her domain as a physical hub for those that might want to physically come together there (in Balen, in the north of Belgium).
We know that we are still a long way from knowing if a physical gathering is possible, and if some people might want to join the Retreat but not be physically with us on the domain.
We want to make the event as inclusive as possible to the whole SOL community while working well for all attendees (real life / online / local hubs /...).
We’ll update this event as things evolve. One thing is sure: also this year, the Retreat dream will come true!
Cheers,Sarah Cudmore, Wendy Van den Bulck, Klaus Schenck

You want to learn more about "Solution Focus"?
You prefer a "step by step" introduction instead to start with reading some voluminous books?
You would appreciate to have a complete "helicopter view" on SF after the first step…
